Celebrate Crossroads: A Walk Down Memory Lane

You're Invited!

Crossroads Hospice Society community will gather for Celebrate Crossroads: A Walk Down Memory Lane, a heartfelt reunion event honouring the people, memories, and moments that have shaped our organization over the years.

On Saturday, April 11, from 1:30pm to 4:30pm at Como Lake United Church, community members, supporters, volunteers, staff, board members, and friends of Crossroads are invited to come together for an afternoon of connection, reflection, and celebration.

For decades, Crossroads Hospice Society has been built by people who cared deeply about bringing compassionate hospice care and free grief support to our community. From early visionaries and dedicated volunteers to families, donors, program leaders, and community partners, so many hands and hearts have helped create what Crossroads is today. This event is an opportunity to honour that shared history and celebrate the incredible legacy of care that continues to grow.

Celebrate Crossroads is designed as an open house reunion where guests can drop in, reconnect with familiar faces, share stories, and reflect on the journey of Crossroads through the years. There will be tea, coffee, and light refreshments, along with opportunities to browse memories, meet others who have been part of the Crossroads story, and enjoy the warmth of a community brought together by compassion.

Guests are encouraged to share their story and connection to Crossroads through a casual video interview available during the event. Whether it is a memory from a fundraising event, a volunteer experience, a program milestone, or a meaningful moment shared, we want to record your story so we can show how Crossroads became such an important part of our community.

At 2:30pm, there will be a short speaker program to welcome guests and reflect on some of the important milestones in Crossroads’ journey. It will be a meaningful moment to pause and recognize the dedication, vision, and generosity that have helped build and sustain Crossroads Hospice Society over the years.

This reunion is more than a celebration of the past. It is also a chance to recognize the strength of the community that continues to carry Crossroads forward. As we remember where we have come from, we also celebrate the relationships, values, and shared commitment that continue to guide our work in hospice care and bereavement support today.

If you are planning to attend, we kindly ask that you RSVP so we can ensure we have enough refreshments prepared for everyone.

We would be honoured to welcome you as we gather to celebrate the journey, the people, and the memories of Crossroads.
