A Community Remembrance Ritual
At Crossroads, we know the immense role that both ritual and community play in grief. Grief is not meant to be experienced alone, nor is it meant to be contained. Grief is to be expressed, shared, and witnessed.
Pebbles & Petals: A Community Remembrance Ritual is our summertime remembrance ceremony that brings ritual and community into the healing power of nature. It is meant to offer grievers a chance to connect with their grief, their loved one, and the natural world.
In June 2025, over 75 participants spent a Saturday morning surrounded by sunlight, birdsong, and community as we remembered our loved ones, together. Participants shared they felt the ceremony was genuine, heartfelt and comforting; the ritual was meaningful and powerful, the atmosphere was beautiful.
This year, Pebbles & Petals is taking place on Saturday June 27th, 2026 from 10:30am - 11:30am at Noons Creek Hatchery in Port Moody. Registration is required and spaces are limited. Please click the link below to register.
